The Meadowlark staff is composed of a talented and passionate group of individuals brought together by their commitment to adolescent girls. The Residence is fortunate to have counselors that are extremely qualified and committed to a high level of care for at-risk youth. Their caring approach and genuine regard for their work make them highly effective in assisting girls toward a positive and productive future.
Meadowlark employs an Executive Director, a Business Manager (Sandi Reimhofer, pictured below), 5 full-time and 3 part-time Residential Counselors, 2 Night Counselors (counselors also pictured at the right), an Independent Living Coordinator, and a part-time assistant.
Residential Counselors provide professional treatment, leadership and care to residents. They are responsible for the effective on-hand management of the program and the guiding of residents through all phases of the program.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff and Clients at Meadowlark, welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in our program! We are very proud to be effectively serving the needs of adolescent girls in the state of Oregon and hope you find the information contained on these pages inspiring and helpful!
Meadowlark Manor, Inc. was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1974 and was developed in response to a growing need for local residential treatment services for adolescent girls in Central Oregon. The mission of Meadowlark remains the same over 30 years later: we are committed to effecting positive, long-term change in the lives of young women.
It is our belief that by providing structure, education, and participation in a healthy lifestyle, along with teaching responsibility for one’s actions, we can accomplish these changes. Through their personal growth, the young women in our program also come to realize a better relationship with their families and their community.
Together, our dedicated Board of Directors, passionate staff and outstanding volunteers make the Meadowlark program successful for our girls and the Central Oregon community!
Please contact us if you would like to become involved with Meadowlark or would like additional information about our program. There are many great ways to become involved—as a Board member, as a volunteer, or as a participant in other activities. We look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Shirley A. Didier
